Description & Applications
RSX ultra-lightweight (5.5 kg) plate-type limited-slip differential designed for Honda Civic EG6 / EK4 equipped with VTEC engines B16 / B16A / B16A2 and Y21 gearboxes.

Design & Manufacturing
Our plate-type LSDs are manufactured from FORGED Nickel-Chromoly steel and subjected to advanced heat treatments such as Super Sub-Zero / Cryogenic treatment.
Additionally, all internal components undergo shot peening and WPC treatment, significantly improving core strength, surface durability, wear resistance, and fatigue life.
The use of high-strength materials, combined with optimized internal geometry featuring large windows and multiple oil holes, results in:
- Reduced internal friction
- Improved lubrication flow
- Lower overall weight
- Enhanced thermal stability
As a result, our LSDs deliver exceptional durability and stable, predictable performance, typically requiring no servicing during the first ~2,000 km of special stages.

The factory specification for this application is: - 35 / 67.5 & 35 / 90 ramp angles

Included Components
- High-tensile ring gear / crown wheel bolts, steel grade 12.9 (included free of charge)
- Additional thicker Belleville / conical washer for users seeking higher preload settings
Installation Notes
- Crown bolts must be tightened to the manufacturer’s specified torque as per the workshop manual.
- We strongly recommend the use of high-strength threadlocker:
- Loctite 271 (red)
For maximum security: Loctite 270 / 2701 (green)
Warranty
As proof of our quality and reliability, we offer a 1-year motorsport warranty covering material and manufacturing defects on our entire range of plate-type LSDs.
Important Reminder – Gear Oil
- For optimal performance and longevity, we strongly recommend using LS (Limited Slip) gear oils specifically formulated for plate-type LSDs.
- Typical recommended viscosity: SAE 75W-140 LS
- Only oils with LS specifications must be used
- It is also recommended to pre-lubricate the LSD with gear oil during gearbox assembly.
- ⚠️ Note: Although an anti-corrosion oil is applied during factory assembly, it does not provide lubrication.
