COMPONENT FEATURES:
• This ultralight weight 2.70kg flywheel is made of forged CrMo steel and special heat treatment (Nitriding), offering a surface hardness of 60 HRC which is twice the HRC value of those flywheels with a polished/machined appearance and that is why they wear very quickly, especially in high compression engines.
• The higher the HRC value, the more resistant the flywheel is and therefore the longer the service life and reliability.
• The clutch cover is made from forged 6061T6 aluminum and treated with hard anodizing. We add steel rivets to the legs, for almost lifetime durability.
• The top/pressure and floating plates are made from forged chromoly steel for superior performance and durability.
• The clutch discs are made from sintered material and the sprung hub system offers a smoother clutch pedal release for those track day cars who are driven some times in the public roads. Other splines different to the OEM 25.4mm x 23T, are also available on order.
• For a full plug and play solution, we offer a racing clutch bearing set with specific support for Evo 5>9 RS along with a converter from OEM pull system to a Race push system, or a full Racing system that includes our Racing hydraulic release bearing set with a specific aluminum support for Evo 5>9 RS with OE gearboxes.
