Plate-Type LSD for Suzuki Swift Sport

MK2 / MK4 ZC32S & MK5 ZC33S – 6-Speed Gearbox

Applications

• Suzuki Swift Sport MK4 (ZC32S) – 2011 to 2017
  Equipped with the M16A 1.6L naturally aspirated engine (136 hp) and 6-speed manual gearbox.
• Suzuki Swift Sport MK5 (ZC33S) – 2017 to present
  Equipped with the K14C 1.4L BoosterJet turbocharged engine (140 hp) and 6-speed manual gearbox.

This plated limited-slip differential is a direct bolt-on upgrade, requiring no gearbox modifications.

Design & Manufacturing

Our plate-type limited-slip differentials are manufactured from FORGED Nickel-Chromoly steel and subjected to advanced heat treatments such as Super Sub-Zero (Cryogenic treatment).

Depending on the application, additional processes such as shot peening and WPC treatment are applied to further enhance:

• Core and surface strength
• Wear resistance
• Fatigue life

The use of high-strength forged material, combined with an optimized internal design featuring large windows and multiple oil holes, results in:

• Reduced internal friction
• Improved internal lubrication
• Significant weight reduction
• Enhanced thermal stability

As a result, our LSDs provide exceptional durability and stable, predictable performance, typically requiring no servicing during the first ~2,000 km of special stages under normal competition use.

• ✔ Extra thicker Belleville / conical washer, allowing users to experiment with higher preload values

Important Reminder – Gear Oil

For correct operation and maximum service life, we strongly recommend the use of LS (Limited Slip) gear oils specifically formulated for plate-type LSDs.

• Typical recommended viscosity: SAE 75W-140 LS
• Only oils with LS specification must be used

It is also recommended to pre-lubricate the LSD with gear oil during gearbox assembly.

⚠️ Note: Although an anti-corrosion oil is applied during factory assembly, it does not provide lubrication.
