This flywheel is made from forged CrMo steel and is subjected to high-frequency induction hardening to increase the hardness of the teeth, achieving a hardness value of around HRC 45-55, compared to untreated teeth, which have a hardness of around HRC 30. In addition, we apply Gaseous Nitrocarburizing to harden the entire surface, improving resistance to fatigue and corrosion. The vast majority of racing flywheels on the market do not exceed 30 HRC, as they do not use heat treatments to improve surface hardness, which are those with a machined/glossy finish. As a result, our flywheels are virtually unbreakable and highly resistant to wear, offering a 1-year competition warranty, with no mileage limit!
