184 mm Clutch Kit for Renault Clio 2 RS

DESCRIPTION:

RSX 184mm single disc clutch kit for Renault Clio 2 RS with F4R engines (172hp and 182hp);

The flywheel is available with original gearing and 60-2 gearing for programmable racing control units.

Depending on the configuration, this single disc clutch kit supports up to 350hp / 400Nm and +800Nm for the twin disc version.

The weight of the flywheel is 3.0kg + 2.95kg for the single disc clutch kit = 5.95kg in total and 7.35kg for the bi-disc.

COMPONENT FEATURES:

The flywheel is made of forged CrMo steel and special heat treatment (Nitriding), offering a surface hardness of 60 HRC which is twice the HRC value of those flywheels with a polished/machined appearance and that is why they wear very quickly, especially in high compression engines.

The higher the HRC value, the more resistant the flywheel is and therefore the longer the service life and reliability;

The clutch press is made from forged 6061T6 aluminium and treated with hard anodising. We add steel rivets to the legs, for almost lifetime durability.

The top/pressure plate is made from forged chromoly steel for superior performance and durability.

The clutch disc is made from sintered material and various designs are available, although the standard version has 3 large pads, as shown in the pictures. Splines other than the original are available on request.

We include a 100% metal clutch support and clutch collar, especially for racing clutches, which replaces the unreliable original clutch collars.
