This cast aluminum cover is compatible with all versions of the PSA BE 5-speed gearboxes, except for the BE3/6 (6-speed variant) found in the Peugeot 306 GTi.

We have developed this aluminum 5th gear end case, based on the Peugeot-Sman version, to provide additional clearance for close-ratio gear kits using larger-diameter 5th gears — such as those included in our own close-ratio gear kit SKU:210601130.

It also reinforces the structural rigidity of BE gearbox casings in high power and torque applications.

The kit includes all bolts required for installation, a replacement drain plug, and a dedicated set of bolts to relocate the OE funnel plate into the RSX aluminum end case.

This funnel plate is essential, as it plays a critical role in maintaining internal lubrication of the mainshaft and preventing gear seizing — particularly in synchromesh gear sets that retain the standard main shaft design with internal oil channels to lubricate the 3rd, 4th, and 5th gears.
