Those looking to upgrade the Citroën AX, Saxo, and Peugeot 106 to the stronger BE gearbox must replace the original wheel hub with a compatible version featuring a 25T spline, which matches the BE outer CV joint.

This upgrade, originally developed by Citroën Sport for the Saxo Challenge, used heavy OE hubs (1.65 kg) made from standard alloy steel. In contrast, we've engineered an ultra-lightweight version weighing just 1.06 kg, manufactured from high-strength chromoly alloy steel and treated with quenching, tempering, and induction hardening. This process results in a tough, high-strength core combined with a hardened surface that resists wear and brinelling under extreme conditions.

The substantial reduction in unsprung weight compared to the Saxo Challenge hubs results in improved vehicle handling and acceleration.
