Helical Gear Shaping Machine - ST40A

The ST40A is a totally upgraded version of the ST40, a revolutionary helical gear shaping machine requiring no helical guide3 for each workpiece - a feat achieved through the world's first application of NC technology to torsional motion during the cutting of helical gears.

The ST40A has extended the ST40's cutting flexibility even further by incorporating Japan's first NC-programmable relieving mechanism and making all seven of the machine's axes fully NC-programmable. This new capability enables the ST40A to accommodate various high-precision cutting applications such as crowning and tapering.

Cylindrical Gear Grinding Machine - VIPER500

The VIPER 500 cylindrical gear grinding machine is designed for component diameters up to 500 mm and is optimally suited for small to medium-sized batches. To suit individual requirements, the machine is available in three different configurations: Profile grinding with small grinding wheels for custom jobs and multiplewheel technology (K), as well as generating grinding (W) or (KW). The VIPER 500 W / KW configuration allows both profile grinding and continuous generating grinding on the same machine – with minimal retooling time.

Precision Measuring Center - P40

The fully automatic CNC-controlled P 40 precision measuring center is designed as a compact unit for the workpiece diameter range up to 400 mm. The machine is used to inspect cylindrical gears, pinion type cutters and shaving cutters, worms and worm wheels, hobs, bevel gears, general dimension, shape, and positional deviations of axially symmetrical workpieces, cam and camshaft measurement and rotor measurement.

Vertical 5-Axis Machine - D500

The D500 is designed to provide superior sustained dynamic accuracy, perfect for your complex mould machining needs. The same dynamic and rigidity makes it the perfect machine for the aerospace components. Makino Thermal Stabilizer technology isolates the machine from fluctuating shop conditions. Insulated castings, core-cooled ballscrews, temperature-controlled DD motors and spindle all combine to deliver thermal stability. The rotary axes deliver twice the accuracy of competitive machines to achieve greater accuracy performance when machining away from the centre of rotation. 

Vertical 5-Axis Machine - D300

The D300 is Designed to Provide Superior Sustained Dynamic Accuracy in a 5–Axis Configuration 

Core-cooled ballscrews, temperature-controlled DD motors and spindle all combine to deliver thermal stability.  The DD-driven rotary axes provide the speed and accuracy to be productive in a wide variety of workpieces and materials.

6 Axis-CNC Hobbing Machine - KN220

By using Dual Hobs mounted on a single arbor (HSS hob for roughing and a Cermet Hob for finishing),a highly accurate finished gear can be achieved, eliminating the shaving process.Moreover, the Cermet hob cutter effectively prevents “Built-Up” cutting edges (workpiece material welding to the hob’s cutting surface) during the hobbing cycle.Also, a Carbide Skiving hob cutter having a negative rake angle can be used to finish heat treated (hard) parts.

6 Axis-CNC Hobbing Machine - KN151

Perfect for hobbing long shaft parts or, shafts with multiple splines/gears. The KN151 has 400 mm of Z axis (axial) stroke, longest for this size of hobbing machine in the industry, and 645 mm of distance from table top to tailstock center.Also, Hard Hobbing, (finish hobbing process for hardened gears) produces a highly accurate tooth form, an overall increase in gear quality, at a low cost when compared to the grinding process it can replace.

6 Axis-CNC Hobbing Machine - KN80

Despite its compact size (1,800 mm of machine length), the KN80 is designed for the high speed hobbing using a 5.5 kW of main spindle motor, delivering a max. of 2,660 rpm hob rotation with 330 rpm of max. work table rotation. Significant reductions in Cycle Time can be achieved when multi-gashed & multi-start hob cutters of small diameter are employed.
Also, the finish hobbing process for hardened gears (Hard Hobbing) produces a highly accurate tooth form, an overall increase in gear quality, at a low cost when compared to the grinding process it can replace.

6 Axis-CNC Hobbing Machine - KE201

The X, Y and Z axes guideways are hand-scraped to increase the way load bearing capacity which creates stable hobbing of large module gears. The machine body has a flat and narrow design by optimally allocating the peripheral equipment into mechanical free areas. Also, the design of the covers, wiring and piping around the hob head is significantly improved creating a “clean” machine appearance
