184mm Single-Plate Clutch Kit for Peugeot 208 R2

We developed this clutch kit to provide the same installed assembly height as the original Peugeot Sport unit, eliminating the need for any modification to the hydraulic release bearing (HRB).

The 2.5 kg reduction in flywheel weight delivers a noticeable improvement in engine response and acceleration. In addition, our sintered clutch kit, featuring a large 3-pad clutch disc design, offers approximately 50% longer service life than the Alcon unit supplied by Peugeot Sport.

Last but not least, our complete clutch and flywheel kit, as well as the individual price for its components is available at a significantly more competitive price than the equivalent Peugeot Sport assembly.

Flywheel

✅ High-Strength Forged Chromoly Steel (CrMo) – Unlike conventional racing flywheels manufactured from standard machined steel, our flywheels are made from high-strength forged chromoly steel and undergo a specialised nitriding heat treatment, achieving an exceptional 58–62 HRC surface hardness. This combination delivers superior mechanical strength, increased resistance to wear and deformation, and outstanding long-term durability, even under the most demanding motorsport conditions.

Why does this matter?

⚠️ Many conventional racing flywheels suffer from premature starter ring gear tooth wear, especially in high-compression engines.

Note: Our flywheels are virtually unbreakable, and come with a 1-year warranty for motorsport use against material or manufacturing defects—with no mileage limit!

CLUTCH COVER:

✅Material: Forged 6061-T6 aluminum with Electroless Plating Coating for:

• Enhanced hardness & wear resistance

✅ The legs are equipped with metal rivets for increased durability.

✅ The tightening torque for the clutch cover to flywheel screws (M8x1.25 grade 12.9) is 40Nm.

FLYWHEEL TO CRANKSHAFT BOLTS (set of 8 pcs)
