⚙️ Technical Specifications
Our plate-type LSDs (Limited Slip Differentials) are crafted from forged nickel-chromoly steel and undergo specialized treatments such as Super Sub-Zero (cryogenic treatment).
Certain applications also receive shot peening and WPC processing to improve core and surface strength, increase wear resistance, and extend service life.
These treatments, combined with premium materials, result in:
- 🔧 Reduced friction and improved fatigue strength
- ⚖️ Lower weight
- 💧 Better internal lubrication, thanks to large windows and multi-hole designs
As a result, our LSDs offer exceptional durability (*successfully proven in track cars with *850 HP and *800 Nm), typically requiring no servicing during the first 2,000 km of special stage use, while maintaining consistent and stable performance.
🔩 Main Features
-
16-plate design (most LSDs use only 8)
→ Ensures superior traction and long-term performance, even under endurance racing conditions. - Lightest in its class, weighing only 4.55 kg
- Equipped with dual-ramp bodies – factory-spec ramp angles for this application:
35/67.5 & 35/90
→ Other ramp angles available upon request.
🎁 Included Free of Charge
✔ One extra-thick Belleville (conical) washer for those who wish to test with higher preload values.
🛡️ Warranty & Reliability
✔ As a testament to our commitment to quality, all our plate-type LSDs come with a 1-year motorsport warranty, covering material and manufacturing defects.
⚠️ Important Reminder
- Use gear oils with shockproof additives or friction modifiers, typically labeled as "LS" (Limited Slip), specifically for plate-type LSDs.
- Most common viscosity: 75W-140 LS
We recommend adding gear oil directly into the LSD before installation.
→ Note: although we apply anti-rust oil during factory assembly, it does not provide lubrication.
