Straight-Cut (Synchromesh) Gear Set for Peugeot-Citroën BE4R Gearbox
The gear ratios and RPM drop have been carefully designed to closely match those found in top R2-spec cars, such as the Peugeot 208 R2.
To keep costs as low as possible, we developed our BE4R close-ratio gear set to be used with OE BE4R final drive ratios for two main reasons: 1️⃣ Cost Efficiency – Keeping costs as low as possible for our customers. 2️⃣ Reliability & Availability – OE BE4R final drives are reliable, affordable, easy to find, and offer a wide range of ratios (12 different options).
This flexibility allows for optimal top-speed selection, making it especially suitable for rally and hill climb racing, as well as for adapting to each customer’s specific needs and conditions.
We keep the same OE mainshaft spline for the clutch disc: 18 teeth x 21 mm diameter.
