Plate type LSD - PSA MA gearboxes
Our ultra-lightweight (4.0 kg) Plate-type LSD for MA transmissions has been developed in conjunction with a dedicated bolt-on ring gear.
This design not only provides a fully secure system, compared to the unsafe OE press-fit ring gears, but also creates additional internal space.
Thanks to this, our LSD accommodates a 10-friction-plate pack, whereas our competitors are limited to a maximum of 8 plates. The result is higher traction performance and—just as importantly—stable and consistent behavior even during endurance racing.
This increased stability leads to a significantly longer service life of the wearing components and more stable preload values, allowing for extended service intervals compared to competitor solutions.
To help fine-tune the top speed to each individual requirement, we also offer three different final drive ratios.

Technical specifications:
Our Plate type LSDs (Limited Slip Differentials) are crafted from "FORGED" Nickel Chromoly steel and undergo special heat treatments such as Super Sub-Zero or Cryogenic treatment. Additionally, they are subjected to processes like shot peening and WPC to bolster core and surface strength, increase wear resistance, and extend service life. The high strength material, along with the processes and treatments used, not only minimize friction and enhance fatigue strength, but also contribute to significantly reduced overall weight and internal lubrication improvement, through the use of large windows and multi holes. As a result, our LSDs offer prolonged durability(in average, they don´t require any service during the first 2.000km of special stages) and improved and stable performance.
These plated LSDs stand out as the sole product on the market featuring 10 friction plates design when other manufacturers offer maximum 8 plates. In addition, they have the added value of being the lightest on the market, weighing only 4.0 kg. These features contribute to enhanced traction and consistent performance, with a stable preload value during a long time, even in endurance races.
As in all our plated LSDs, we use dual ramp bodies and our factory spec version on this application is the 35/65 & 40/85. Other ramp angles available upon request.
We include “free or charge” an extra and thicker belleville/conical washer for those who like to try with higher preload values.
As a proof of our quality and reliability, we offer 1 year of “motorsport warranty” upon material or manufacturing defects in our full range of Plate type LSDs.
Important Reminder:
We recommend using gear oils with shockproof additives or friction modifiers, commonly labeled as "LS" (Limited Slip) gear oils, specifically for plate-type LSDs.
The most common SAE grade is 75W-90 LS and only with LS specifications if a plate-type LSD is installed.
It is also advisable to add gear oil directly to the LSD during installation into the gearbox. Please note that although we apply anti-rust oil during assembly at our factory, it does not provide lubrication.
