VAG 02Q 2WD MQ350 6 Speed gearbox Gear Type LSD | Limited-slip differential

The 02Q and 02M differentials are the same except for the bearing inner diameter on the side opposite the ring gear: 46 mm in the 02M and 48 mm in the 02Q.
On the ring gear side, both gearboxes use the same 46 mm inside diameter bearing.

Components included:

A set of 10 pcs M11x1.0 high-grade 12.9 ring gear bolts is included with all our VAG 02M and 02Q LSDs.

Applications:

Fits all Audi / SEAT / Skoda / VW 6-speed manual 02Q / MQ380 2WD gearboxes (excludes Quattro / 4Motion).

The 02Q gearbox is found in later-model VAG vehicles, including the Audi A3 8P, SEAT Leon Mk2, Skoda Octavia Mk2, VW Golf Mk5, VW Jetta, and VW Passat B6.

If you are not sure about your gearbox code, it can be found on the gearbox itself (near the shifter tower) or on the sticker under the boot carpet. It will be a 3-letter code.

Manufacturing Process:

Our Torsen (helical gears) LSDs are made from FORGED Nickel-Chromoly steel, with special heat treatments and finishes such as super sub-zero, shot peening, and WPC, increasing surface hardness to deliver ultimate strength and durability. This makes them the ideal choice for turbocharged engines with high torque and power, such as those used in drag racing cars with over 1,000 hp!

Our in-house high-angle helical gear design enhances traction and cornering speed, surpassing even some plate-type LSDs available on the market.

Our lightweight design and the holes around the entire casing offer a significant weight reduction, as well as , improved oil flow inside the differential enhancing gear lubrication.

The maintenance-free and noise-free operation makes our Torsen LSDs the perfect option for road and track day cars, while also being highly effective and cost-efficient for racing, drag, and rally cars.

Important Reminder:

We recommend using OE or fully synthetic gear oil with NO shockproof additives or friction modifiers (known as "LS" gear oils, exclusive to plate-type LSDs).

It is also recommended to add gear oil to the LSD when assembling it into the gearbox. We use anti-rust oil during assembly at our factory, but it has no lubrication function.
