Applications

This clutch kit with flywheel is designed for Peugeot - Citröen 1.6L 16v TU5J engines found in:

  • Peugeot 106 with MA and BE gearboxes.
  • Citroën Saxo with MA and BE gearboxes.
  • Peugeot 206 with MA and BE gearboxes.
  • Citroën C2 VTS 1.6L 16v with MA and BE gearboxes.
  • Also matches with Sadev sequential gearbox from C2 R2 Max and other sequential gearboxes found in the market

Additionally, it may also be compatible with smaller TU engines. Feel free to contact us—we’ll be happy to assist you in verifying the measurements and fitment.

Component Features 

Flywheel

  • Weight: only 2.95 kg
  • Material: Forged CrMo steel, nitriding heat-treated
  • Hardness: HRC 58–62 → over twice as hard as standard flywheels
    → Prevents wear on starter ring gear in high-compression engines
  • Longevity: High surface hardness = extended service life & reliability

Why does this matter?

⚠ Many flywheels wear quickly, especially the starter motor ring gear, when used in high-compression engines.
⚠ A higher HRC value means increased resistance to wear, ensuring longer service life & greater reliability.

Note: Our flywheels are virtually unbreakable, highly resistant to wear, and come with a 1-year warranty for motorsport use against material or manufacturing defectswith no mileage limit!

Clutch Cover

  • Material: Forged 6061-T6 aluminum, hard anodized
  • Construction: Steel-riveted legs for near-lifetime durability. Hardened steel thrust buttons/rivets offer a smooth and durable surface for the clutch cover legs, pressure, and floating plates
  • The tightening torque for the cover-to-flywheel bolts (M8x1.25, grade 12.9) is 41 Nm.

Top/Pressure Plate

  • Material: Forged chromoly steel, cryogenically treated (in some applications)

Sintered Clutch Discs — Ø184 mm (7.25")

  • Material: Proprietary blend of sintered metal compounds, engineered with precise manufacturing tolerances
  • Standard version design: Three large friction pads for optimal engagement and reliability.
  • Forged chromoly steel hubs with induction hardening and 21mm x 18T spline. (Also available 24.15mm x 21T for Sman gearboxes, 7/8"(22.23mm) x 20T for Sadev C2 R2 Max gearbox, and custom spline upon request.)
  • Hub: Machined from forged chromoly steel and induction hardened for maximum strength and wear resistance
  • Customization: Available on request (e.g. custom spline)
