Bolt-on final drive in ratios 4.29/4.92/5.67  for MA gearboxes:

This semi-helical final drive is compatible with both early-type MA gearboxes (5th gear with threaded end closure) and late-type MA gearboxes (5th gear with circlip end closure). It is designed exclusively for use with our bolt-on Plate-type LSD.

Ratios:

• 5.67 - 12x68

Our ultralight final drives to be screwed to our LSD for Peugeot-Citroen (PSA) MA boxes.

This final drive is the most recommended in combination with the original ratio and for use in rally, mountain trials, slalom, autocross, as it manages to reduce the maximum speed around 165- 175km/h depending on the rpm of engine and tire to use.

In the photos attached below  is an example of a very common speed graph (7,500rpm and 15” asphalt tires) where we get a top speed of 169.50 km/h and another with the 13x64 group, where the top speed increases to 195 km/h, more interesting top speed for a circuit use.

Material:

Manufactured from billet and forged Ni-Cr-Mo steel, delivering exceptional mechanical strength, high impact resistance, and long-term durability under high torque and aggressive driving conditions.

Hardness:

• HRC 56–60, ensuring excellent resistance to wear and surface fatigue, even in demanding motorsport applications.

Surface Treatments:

Multiple advanced surface treatment processes are applied to maximize durability and reliability:

• Sandblasting – Ensures uniform surface finish and optimal surface preparation
• Shot peening – Increases fatigue strength by inducing compressive surface stresses
• WPC treatment – Enhances surface hardness, reduces friction, and improves micro-surface durability

Heat Treatments:

To achieve maximum strength, dimensional stability, and service life, the following heat treatments are applied:

• Carburizing – Produces a hard, wear-resistant surface while maintaining a tough core
• Cryogenic treatment – Improves dimensional stability, wear resistance, and long-term gear mesh performance
